鋼波紋管涵選用規范化設計、集中化生產，現場裝置土建與型材可分開施行，減少或底子放棄了常規建材，工期短，環保意義深遠。鋼制波紋管涵的結構受力情況合理，荷載散布均勻，并具有必定的抗變形才能，能解決北方冰冷區域（霜凍）對橋梁和管涵砼結構的破壞問題。

并參照國內外同類產品的波形，管直徑小于1.5m的波距為125mm，波高為25mm；管直徑大于1.5m的波距為200mm，波高為55mm。波紋為圓形全體管，選用整管節拼裝、法蘭螺栓銜接。全體管銜接法蘭選用角鋼、鋼板制造，波紋板焊接選用對焊接頭。
緊固件選用國標中的規范緊固件，其強度和規格應滿意力學要求，且不低于管材強度要求。墊片與緊固件般配。螺栓與螺母均選用熱浸鍍鋅處理。密封材料選用耐久性能較好的橡膠密封圈或方形石棉盤根密封條。
鋼波紋管涵加工后須選用熱鍍鋅等防腐處理。選用鍍鋅鋼板加工的，在加工后進行二次處理。為便于鋼板的加工制造，結構的裝置銜接，進步鋼板的制造精度，板材的尺寸宜適應不同管徑的需求，以形成系列化。板的厚度隨結構跨徑的巨細變化，鋼板厚可選用2.5-8mm。管壁及配套附件均經過熱浸鍍鋅處理，其鍍鋅層的平均厚度大于84um.涵管運至施工現場后，工地現場涂刷兩邊瀝青。//hanihanbj.com/
